Thank you very much, Anonymous friend ! I’m actually not alone. I’m working with La Blogotheque, we are a team, and we approach bands together. Sometimes we ask weeks in advance, sometimes bands ask us. Sometimes we just catch them at the bar after a show, guerilla style, like the Bloc Party film. There is no rule.

Hey ! Thanks a lot ! I have no particular background. I’ve just always been curious for new ways to make films and learned a few tricks in the process. I started playing around with cameras & editing during my teen years. I’m 24 now. I believe you need to be very curious and willing to expend your vocabulary. To me making films is like language, the more words I have the better I can express myself. When I see a new one, I have to learn it. And yes, in another life I actually worked in TV for a few months. Horrible place. I guess that was the equivalent of learning swearing words :)
